Examination of applicants; restriction on participation in grading examinations; meetings; quorum

1. The Board shall meet whenever necessary
to examine applicants. The dates of the examinations must be fixed by the
Board. The Board may conduct examinations outside this State, and for this
purpose may use the facilities of dental colleges.
2. The members who are dental hygienists
or dental therapists may vote on all matters but may not participate in grading
any clinical examinations required by NRS
631.240 for the licensing of dentists. If a member is not licensed under
the provisions of this chapter, the member shall not participate in grading any
examination required by the Board.
3. The Board may also meet at such other
times and places and for such other purposes as it may deem proper.
4. A quorum consists of five members who
are dentists and two members who are dental hygienists or dental therapists.
