The Board may, by majority vote, select physicians, anesthesiologist assistants and members of the public, who must meet the same qualifications as required for members of the Board, to serve as advisory members of the Board. One or more advisory members may be designated by the Board to assist a committee of its members in an investigation as provided in NRS 630.311 but may not vote on any matter before the committee. Advisory members may also serve as members of the panel selected to hear charges as provided in NRS 630.339 and may vote on any recommendation made by the panel to the Board.
