Nevada Code § 629.041

Provider of health care required to report persons having injuries apparently inflicted by knife or firearm in nonaccidental circumstances

Every provider of
health care to whom any person comes or is brought for treatment of an injury
which appears to have been inflicted by means of a firearm or knife, not under
accidental circumstances, shall promptly report the persons name, if known,
his or her location and the character and extent of the injury to an
appropriate law enforcement agency.
