Work concerning a residential photovoltaic system used to produce electricity and work defined

1. Work concerning a residential
photovoltaic system used to produce electricity or work means any of the
following acts:
(a) The construction, repair, maintenance,
restoration, alteration or improvement of any photovoltaic system used to
produce or store electricity on the customers side of an electric meter on a
single-family residence or qualified multifamily affordable housing property,
including, without limitation, the repair or replacement of existing equipment
or the installation of new equipment, as necessary; or
(b) Any activity for the supervision concerning
such work.
2. The scope of such work includes the
installation, alteration and repair of photovoltaic cells, batteries, inverters
and storage systems used in the conversion of solar energy into electricity and
the storage of that electricity on the customers side of an electric meter on
a single-family residence or qualified multifamily affordable housing property.
3. The term does not include:
(a) Education regarding solar photovoltaics;
(b) Energy audits; or
(c) The advertising or solicitation of such work.
