Required disclosures by general building contractor to owner of single-family residence or qualified multifamily affordable housing property with whom contractor has contracted

1. A general building contractor shall
provide in writing to the owner of a single-family residence or, in the case of
a contract for work concerning a residential photovoltaic system used to
produce electricity on a qualified multifamily affordable housing property, the
owner of the qualified multifamily affordable housing property with whom he or
she has contracted:
(a) The name, license number, business address
and telephone number of:
(1) All subcontractors with whom he or she
has contracted on the project; and
(2) All persons who furnish material of
the value of $500 or more to be used in the project.
(b) A notice that a person described in paragraph
(a) may record a notice of lien upon the residence of the owner and any
building, structure and improvement thereon pursuant to the provisions of NRS 108.226 .
(c) An informational form, whose contents must be
prescribed by the Board, regarding:
(1) Contractors pursuant to this chapter;
and
(2) Mechanics and materialmens liens
pursuant to chapter 108 of NRS.
2. As used in this section, qualified
multifamily affordable housing property has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 704.7714 .
