Work practice control means a procedure or rule that is used to reduce the risk of workplace violence, including, without limitation: 1. Assigning and placing staff in a manner that reduces patient-specific risk factors; 2. Employing or contracting with security guards when applicable; and 3. Providing training on methods to prevent workplace violence and respond to incidents of workplace violence.
