Account for Pensions for Silicosis, Diseases Related to Asbestos and Other Disabilities: Creation; interest and income; administration

1. There is hereby created in the State
General Fund the Account for Pensions for Silicosis, Diseases Related to
Asbestos and Other Disabilities. The Account consists of money appropriated to
the Account by the Legislature and interest and income earned pursuant to
subsection 2.
2. The interest and income earned on money
in the Account, after deducting any applicable charges, must be credited to the
Account.
3. The Account must be administered by the
State Treasurer. The money in the Account may be expended only for the purposes
set forth in NRS 617.168 and none of the
money in the Account may be expended for administrative purposes. The
expenditures must be made on claims approved by the insurer and paid as other
claims against the State are paid.
