Power of Board to issue, suspend and revoke licenses; fees established by regulation

1. The Board may:
(a) Prescribe the method and form of application
for a license to sell, deliver, transport, transfer or dispense or engage in
any other activity relating to liquefied petroleum gas;
(b) Investigate the experience, reputation and
background of applicants;
(c) Issue, suspend, revoke or deny licenses; and
(d) Conduct hearings in connection with
applications for, or revocation of, licenses.
In
conducting hearings on the issuance or revocation of any license, the Board may
compel the attendance of witnesses by use of subpoena and apply to the district
court of the county where the hearing is held for an order citing any applicant
or witness for contempt, for failure to attend or testify.
2. The Board may conduct examinations of
any applicant to determine the responsibility, ability, knowledge, experience
or other qualification of the applicant for a license under NRS 590.465 to 590.645 , inclusive, and may require a
reasonable amount of insurance against liability for injury to persons and
damage to property.
3. The Board shall adopt regulations
setting fees for applications, licenses and inspections adequate to cover the
cost of the operations of the Board.
4. The Board may suspend or revoke
licenses and refuse renewals of licenses if the applicant or licensee has been
guilty of acts or conduct harmful to either the safety or protection of the
public.
