Nevada Code § 587.099

Seeds of vegetables: Requirements for labels for containers of more than 1 pound

The labeling of
containers for seeds of vegetables in containers of more than 1 pound must
state, in addition to the requirements of NRS
587.091 :
1. The name of each kind and variety
present in excess of 5 percent of the whole, and the percentage by weight of
each in order of its predominance.
2. The number or other identification of
the lot.
3. For each seed of vegetables named on
the label:
(a) The percentage of germination, exclusive of
hard seed;
(b) The percentage of hard seed, if present; and
(c) The month and year the test for germination
was completed.
4. The name and address of the person who
labeled the seed, or who sells or offers the seed for sale within this state.
5. The name and rate of occurrence per
pound of each kind of seed of restricted noxious weeds present in the
container.
