Nevada Code § 585.920

Unlawful to sell or offer to sell beverage container opened by detaching metal ring or tab; exceptions; penalty

1. Except as otherwise provided in
subsection 2, it is unlawful for a person to sell or offer for sale at retail a
metal beverage container so designed and constructed that it is opened by
detaching a metal ring or tab.
2. This section does not prohibit the sale
of a beverage container which:
(a) Is sealed with laminated tape, foil or other
soft material that is detachable; or
(b) Contains milk-based, soy-based or similar
products which require heat and pressure in the canning process.
3. A person who violates the provisions of
subsection 1 shall be punished by a fine of not more than $500 for each
violation. Each day of violation constitutes a separate offense.
