Investigations; records of producers and distributors

1. The Director may investigate, upon
reasonable notice, any and all transactions between producers and distributors
or among distributors or between distributors and retail stores or between
distributors and consumers or between retail stores and consumers. The Director
or its authorized agents may enter at all reasonable hours all places where
milk is stored, bottled or manufactured, or where milk or milk products are
bought, sold or handled, or where the books, papers, records or documents
relating to such transactions are kept, and may inspect and copy any such
books, papers, records or documents.
2. Each producer and distributor shall
maintain adequate records concerning any and all transactions in fluid milk and
fluid cream.
