If an inspector or the Officer accepts any money, gift or other thing of value from a person, firm or corporation with the knowledge that the money, gift or other thing of value is to influence the inspectors or Officers official duty pursuant to NRS 583.255 to 583.555 , inclusive, the inspector or Officer must be summarily discharged from office and is guilty of a category C felony and shall be punished as provided in NRS 193.130 .
