Before any person is prosecuted for violation of NRS 583.475 and 583.485 , the Officer shall give such person against whom such proceeding is contemplated reasonable notice of the alleged violation and opportunity to present the persons views orally or in writing with regard to such contemplated proceeding. Nothing in NRS 583.255 to 583.555 , inclusive, requires that a person be prosecuted for violations of NRS 583.475 and 583.485 whenever the Officer believes that the public interest will be adequately served by a suitable written notice or warning.
