Program for grading and certifying meats, prepared meats and meat products: Establishment; cooperative agreements; regulations; fees

1. The Department may establish a program
for grading and certifying meats, prepared meats and meat products in
conformity with federal practice.
2. The Department may enter into
cooperative agreements with the Agricultural Marketing Service of the United
States Department of Agriculture and the College of Agriculture, Biotechnology
and Natural Resources of the University of Nevada, Reno, and adopt appropriate
regulations to carry out the program.
3. The Department may establish fees, to
be collected from slaughtering or other processing operations, for the purpose
of grading and certifying meats, prepared meats and meat products.
