Issuance of receipts to purchasers

Each
operator of a livestock auction or person who conducts an annual sale of
livestock shall issue to each purchaser of livestock a receipt on a form
approved by the Department, and the receipt must contain:
1. The name and address of the purchaser
of the livestock.
2. A description of the livestock, which
must include the number and kind, approximate age, the sex, and any visible
brands or other distinguishing or identifying marks.
