Provisions of Taylor Grazing Act; money derived from grazing fees and leases

1. The Taylor Grazing Act provides for the
cooperation of the Secretary of the Interior of the United States with state
and other officials and associations, and for the payment to the State by the
Secretary of the Treasury of the United States of certain moneys representing a
percentage of:
(a) Grazing fees collected from stock raisers for
grazing use of areas within the various grazing districts created under the
provisions of the Taylor Grazing Act; and
(b) Lease charges collected from stock raisers
leasing certain specific tracts lying outside any such grazing districts.
2. For the purpose of brevity and
clarification, the two different sources of the funds described in subsection 1
and paid to the state are referred to in NRS
568.010 to 568.210 , inclusive,
respectively, as funds derived from grazing fees and funds derived from
grazing leases.
