Approval of proposed ordinance; effect of regulations

1. The Commission shall not have authority
to enact such proposed ordinance into law unless at least a majority of the
votes cast in such referendum shall have been cast for approval of the proposed
ordinance.
2. The approval of the proposed ordinance
by a majority of the votes cast in such referendum shall not be deemed to
require the Commission to enact such proposed ordinance into law.
3. Land use regulations prescribed in
ordinances adopted pursuant to the provisions of NRS 548.410 to 548.435 , inclusive, by the Commission shall
have the force and effect of law in the conservation district and shall be
binding and obligatory upon all occupiers of lands within such district.
