Nevada Code § 539.724

Election on question of annexation: Notice; procedure; form of ballots

1. Upon the adoption of the resolution
mentioned in NRS 539.722 , the board
shall submit to the voters of the district at the next district election or
primary or general state election the question of whether the lands described
in the resolution shall be annexed to the district.
2. Notice of the election must be
published and the election conducted in the manner prescribed by this chapter
for the issuance of bonds of the district.
3. The notice of election must describe
the lands proposed to be annexed to the district.
4. The ballots cast at the election must
contain the words for annexation, or against annexation, or expressions
equivalent thereto.
