Nevada Code § 539.660

Bonds as legal investments and security

1. All bonds certified in accordance with
the terms of NRS 539.640 to 539.665 , inclusive, are legal investments
for all trust funds, and for the money of all insurance companies, banks, both
commercial and savings, credit unions and trust companies.
2. Whenever any money may, by law now or
hereafter enacted, be invested in bonds of cities, counties, school districts
or municipalities in the State of Nevada, such money may be invested in the
bonds of irrigation districts, and whenever bonds of cities, counties, school
districts or municipalities may by any law now or hereafter enacted be used as
security for the performance of any act, bonds of irrigation districts under
the limitations in NRS 539.640 to 539.665 , inclusive, provided it may be so
used.
