1. If the issuance of such funding or refunding bonds is carried by a vote of a majority of the qualified electors of the improvement district voting at the election, the board of directors shall petition the district court of the county in which the principal office of the district is located for confirmation of all of the proceedings in respect to the issuance of such funding or refunding bonds in the manner prescribed in this chapter for the confirmation of other proceedings by the district. 2. The proceedings on the petition shall be substantially the same as provided by NRS 539.443 for the confirmation of proceedings in respect to local improvements in an irrigation district.
