Compensation of commissioners and State Engineer; claims for payment of expenses

1. The Nevada members of the
California-Nevada Interstate Compact Commission, designated or appointed
pursuant to Article IV of the Compact, if not in the regular employ of the State,
are entitled to receive a salary of not more than $80 per day, as fixed by the
Commission, for time actually spent on the work of the Compact Commission.
2. The State Engineer and any other Nevada
commission members who are in the regular employ of the State are not entitled
to additional compensation.
3. While engaged in the business of the
Commission, the State Engineer and any other Nevada commission members are
entitled to receive the per diem allowance and travel expenses provided for
state officers and employees generally.
4. Claims for payment of all such expenses
incurred by the commission members must be made by the Office of the State
Engineer on vouchers approved by the State Engineer and the State Board of
Examiners and paid as other claims against the State are paid.
