General rule of privilege

Except
as otherwise provided in NRS 49.2549 , a
victim who seeks advice, counseling or assistance from a victims advocate has
a privilege to refuse to disclose, and to prevent any other person from
disclosing, confidential communications set forth in NRS 49.2546 .
