As used in NRS 483.800 : 1. Person who is blind means any person whose visual acuity with correcting lenses does not exceed 20/200 in the better eye, or whose vision in the better eye is restricted to a field which subtends an angle of not greater than 20 . 2. Person who is night-blind means a person afflicted with nyctalopia. 3. Person who is severely visually impaired means any person whose visual acuity with correcting lenses does not exceed 20/70 in the better eye, or whose vision in the better eye is restricted to a field which subtends an angle of not greater than 30 , or whose vision is impaired to such an extent that it materially limits, contributes to limiting or, if not corrected, will probably result in limiting the individuals activities of functioning.
