Willful or negligent failure to guard or extinguish fire; penalty

Every person who
willfully or negligently sets or fails to guard carefully or extinguish any
fire, whether on the persons own land or the land of another, whereby the
timber or property of another is endangered is guilty of a misdemeanor.
