Nevada Code § 474.495

Provision of emergency medical services; purchase, acquisition, lease, operation and maintenance of ambulances; purchase of insurance; employment of trained personnel

The
board of fire commissioners of a district organized pursuant to NRS 474.460 or 474.533 may:
1. Provide emergency medical services
within the district; and
2. Purchase, acquire by donation or
otherwise, lease, operate and maintain ambulances if necessary, and may take
out liability and other insurance therefor. The board of fire commissioners may
employ trained personnel to operate those vehicles.
