Findings by board following election; inclusion of territory

1. The returns of the votes cast in the
outside territory proposed to be annexed and in the district shall be canvassed
separately, and the board of directors shall cause a record of the canvass to
be made and entered in its minutes.
2. If it appears from such canvass that a
majority of the votes cast in the district and in the territory proposed to be
annexed are in favor of the change in boundary, the board shall so find. Upon
the filing of a certified copy of such findings, under seal of the district, in
the office of the county recorder, the territory shall be a part of the
district.
