Nevada Code § 472.530

Liability of person, firm, association or agency for damage by fire

Except as otherwise provided
in NRS 527.126 , any person, firm,
association or agency which, personally or through another, willfully,
negligently or in violation of the law:
1. Sets fire to the property, whether
privately or publicly owned, of another;
2. Allows fire to be set to the property,
whether privately or publicly owned, of another; or
3. Allows a fire kindled or attended by
the person, firm, association or agency to escape to the property, whether
privately or publicly owned, of another,
is liable to
the owner of the property for the damages caused by the fire.
