Pari-mutuel wagering defined

Pari-mutuel
wagering means a system of placing wagers on a horse race whereby the wager is
placed at a window and equipment is used to pay a persons winnings in the
precise amount of money wagered by persons who did not win, after deducting
taxes owed and commissions charged by the race track.
