Policy of State; waiver of requirements

1. The policy of the State of Nevada with
respect to the issuance of state gaming licenses to limited partnerships is:
(a) To broaden the opportunity for investment in
gaming through the pooling of capital in limited partnership form.
(b) To maintain effective control over the
conduct of gaming by limited partnership licensees.
(c) To restrain any speculative promotion of
limited partnership interests in gaming enterprises.
2. To the extent practicable, the
provisions of this chapter that apply to a limited partnership shall be deemed
to apply to a registered limited-liability partnership as defined in NRS 87.020 or 87.4311 or a foreign registered
limited-liability partnership.
3. The Commission may waive, either
selectively or by general regulation, one or more of the requirements of NRS 463.564 to 463.572 , inclusive, if it makes a written
finding that a waiver is consistent with the state policy set forth in NRS 463.0129 and this section.
