Nevada Code § 453.346

Effect of conviction or acquittal under federal or other state laws

1. If a violation of NRS 453.011 to 453.552 , inclusive, is a violation of a
federal law or the law of another state, a conviction or acquittal under
federal law or the law of another state for the same act is a bar to
prosecution in this State.
2. The provisions of subsection 1 do not
prohibit any licensing board within this State from proceeding administratively
to suspend or revoke any certificate, license or permit held by any person who
has been convicted of a violation of any federal or state controlled substance
law.
