Facilities for bathing

1. In every hotel in existence prior to
October 1, 1945, at least one bathtub or shower shall be installed in a
separate compartment on a public hallway or court for every 20, or fractional
part of 20, guestrooms on the same floor as the hallway or court which are not
provided with private baths.
2. In every hotel built after October 1,
1945, at least one bathtub or shower provided with hot and cold water shall be
installed in a separate compartment on a public hallway or court for every 10,
or fractional part of 10, guestrooms on the same floor as the hallway or court
which are not provided with private baths.
