Program for maternal and child health: Purposes; administration

1. The Department is hereby designated as
the agency of this State to administer, through the Division, a maternal and
child health program, and to supervise the administration of those services
included in the program which are not administered directly by it.
2. The purpose of such program shall be to
develop, extend and improve health services, and to provide for development of
demonstration services in needy areas for persons who are pregnant, are giving
birth or have given birth and children.
