1. A governmental entity, a nonprofit corporation that is recognized as exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, 26 U.S.C. 501(c)(3), a public health program, a medical facility or a person who has a fiscal sponsor that is recognized as exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, 26 U.S.C. 501(c)(3), may establish a sterile hypodermic device program in this State. 2. As used in this section: (a) Medical facility has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 449.0151 . (b) Public health program has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 454.00973 .
