1. The Health Care Purchasing and Compliance Division shall analyze and report trends regarding sentinel events. 2. When the Health Care Purchasing and Compliance Division receives notice from a health facility that the health facility has taken corrective action to remedy the causes or contributing factors, or both, of a sentinel event, the Health Care Purchasing and Compliance Division shall: (a) Make a record of the information; (b) Ensure that the information is released in a manner so as not to reveal the identity of a specific patient, provider of health care or member of the staff of the facility; and (c) At least quarterly, report its findings regarding the analysis of trends of sentinel events on the Internet website maintained by the Authority pursuant to NRS 439A.270 .
