1. Upon receipt of a report pursuant to NRS 439.835 , the Health Care Purchasing and Compliance Division may, as often as deemed necessary by the Administrator of the Health Care Purchasing and Compliance Division to protect the health and safety of the public, request additional information regarding the sentinel event or conduct an audit or investigation of the health facility. 2. A health facility shall provide to the Health Care Purchasing and Compliance Division any information requested in furtherance of a request for information, an audit or an investigation pursuant to this section. 3. If the Health Care Purchasing and Compliance Division conducts an audit or investigation pursuant to this section, the Health Care Purchasing and Compliance Division shall, within 30 days after completing such an audit or investigation, report its findings to the State Board of Health. 4. A health facility which is audited or investigated pursuant to this section shall pay to the Health Care Purchasing and Compliance Division the actual cost of conducting the audit or investigation.
