Nevada Code § 435.360

Responsibility for costs of care and treatment of person 18 years of age or older

1. The relatives of a consumer with an
intellectual disability or a consumer with a developmental disability who is 18
years of age or older are not responsible for the costs of the consumers care
and treatment within a division facility.
2. The consumer or the consumers estate,
when able, may be required to contribute a reasonable amount toward the costs
of the consumers care and treatment. Otherwise, the full costs of the services
must be borne by the State.
