Discharge of consumer; notice to consumer, consumers representative and court

1. If the administrative officer of an
intellectual and developmental disability center finds that a consumer is no
longer in need of the services offered at the center, the administrative
officer shall discharge that consumer.
2. A written notice of the discharge must
be given to the consumer and the consumers representatives at least 10 days
before the discharge.
3. If the consumer was admitted
involuntarily, the Administrator shall, at least 10 days before the discharge,
notify the district court which issued the certificate of eligibility for the
persons admission.
