Voluntary admission

1. Any person with an intellectual
disability or any person with a developmental disability may apply to any
intellectual and developmental disability center for admission as a voluntary
consumer. The persons parent or guardian or another responsible person may
submit the application on his or her behalf.
2. If the person or a responsible party on
behalf of the person objects to voluntary admission, the procedure for
involuntary admission may be followed.
