Nevada Code § 432.360

Committee for the Statewide Alert System: Duties; powers

1. The Committee shall, in consultation
with the Attorney General:
(a) Oversee the System;
(b) Set forth the components of the System;
(c) Supervise and evaluate any training
associated with the System;
(d) Monitor, review and evaluate the activations
of the System to determine whether such activations complied with NRS 432.300 to 432.380 , inclusive; and
(e) Conduct periodic tests of the System.
2. The Committee may:
(a) Dedicate the System to one or more persons;
(b) Establish a name for the System that is in
addition to the definition set forth in NRS
432.330 ; and
(c) Apply for and accept gifts, grants and
donations for use in carrying out the provisions of NRS 432.300 to 432.380 , inclusive. Any money so received
must be deposited in the Account.
