1. Each county may participate in the Program. If a county participates in the Program, the county shall pay the cost of the Program in that county. Any services provided by the county under the Program must be provided in accordance with: (a) Part D of Title IV of the Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. 651 et seq., and any regulations adopted pursuant thereto; (b) Any regulations adopted pursuant to NRS 425.365 ; and (c) A contract entered into with the Division for that purpose. 2. If a county participates in the Program pursuant to subsection 1, the county may, on or before September 1 of each even-numbered year, elect to withdraw from the Program by submitting a notice of withdrawal to the Division. If a county submits a notice of withdrawal pursuant to this subsection, the withdrawal becomes effective on July 1 of the next following year.
