Reporting of certain rates of reimbursement for physicians

1. The Authority, with respect to the
State Plan for Medicaid and the Childrens Health Insurance Program, shall
report every rate of reimbursement for physicians which is provided on a
fee-for-service basis and which is lower than the rate provided on the current
Medicare fee schedule for care and services provided by physicians.
2. The Director shall post on an Internet
website maintained by the Authority a schedule of such rates of reimbursement.
3. The Director shall, on or before February
1 of each year, submit a report concerning the schedule of such rates of
reimbursement to the Director of the Legislative Counsel Bureau for transmittal
to the Legislature in odd-numbered years or to the Joint Interim Standing
Committee on Health and Human Services in even-numbered years.
