Any billboard, sign, placard, notice or other form of outdoor advertisement erected, placed, painted, posted or maintained otherwise than is provided in NRS 405.020 to 405.100 , inclusive, or in NRS 408.275 shall be deemed a public nuisance and shall be removed, effaced or destroyed by the sheriff and other peace officers having authority wherever such nuisance may be located.
