Nevada Code § 392.291

Law enforcement agency defined

Law
enforcement agency means an agency, office or bureau of this State or a
political subdivision of this State, the primary duty of which is to enforce
the law. The term includes, without limitation, a school police officer, and
any peace officer or employee who is acting in his or her professional or
occupational capacity for such an agency.
