1. The Board shall select a public or nonprofit private organization, if possible, to administer each center. In selecting the organization, the Board shall consider the experience and capability of the organization in administering services similar to those to be provided by the center. 2. The Chair of the Board shall consult and cooperate with such agencies of the Federal and State Governments as the Board considers appropriate to facilitate the establishment of a center which utilizes or is coordinated with existing state and federal programs of a similar nature.
