Inclusion of mental health resources on pupil identification card

1. The board of trustees of a school
district or the governing body of a charter school shall ensure that
information relating to mental health resources, including, without limitation,
the number 9-8-8 which may be dialed to access the hotline described in NRS 433.704 for persons who are considering
suicide or otherwise in a behavioral health crisis, or any successor number for
a hotline established pursuant to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline
program, appears on the back of any identification card issued to a pupil at a
school within the school district or the charter school.
2. As used in this section, National
Suicide Prevention Lifeline program has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 433.702 .
