1. The Office shall prepare and maintain
the State Register of Historic Places.
2. The Office shall establish procedures,
qualifications and standards for listing historic places in the State Register.
3. The Office shall prepare a list of
eligible sites, buildings, structures and objects, including, without
limitation, landmarks, and districts on public and private land.
4. The Administrator may, by agreement
with the appropriate state agency or private owner, place any site, building,
structure or object, including, without limitation, a landmark, or district
which is located on state or private land in the State Register. The
Administrator may by agreement with the appropriate federal agency place any site,
building, structure or object, including, without limitation, a landmark, or
district which is located on federal land in the State Register.
