Nevada Code § 381.209

Limitations and conditions

The
Museum Director may limit a permit described in NRS 381.197 as to time and location. Such a
permit may not be granted:
1. For a period of more than 1 year.
2. For investigation, exploration or
excavation in a larger area than the applicant can reasonably be expected to
explore fully and systematically within the time limit set in the permit.
3. For the removal of any ancient
monument, structure or site which can be permanently preserved under the
control of the State of Nevada in situ, and remain an object of interest, if
desired by the State, for a park, landmark or monument for the benefit of the
public.
