Museum directors: Appointment and establishment of powers and duties by Administrator; classification; duty to exercise and carry out assigned powers and duties

1. The Administrator shall:
(a) Appoint a museum director for each
institution; and
(b) Establish the powers and duties of each
museum director as necessary for the efficient operation of the Division of
Museums and History pursuant to the provisions of NRS 381.0063 .
2. Each museum director is in the
classified service of the State. The Division of Human Resource Management of
the Department of Administration, in cooperation with the Administrator, shall
classify the position of each museum director based on the powers and duties the
museum director is required to carry out, the size and complexity of the
programs the museum director is required to administer and such other
considerations as are deemed relevant by the Division of Human Resource
Management of the Department of Administration.
3. Each museum director shall exercise
such powers and carry out such duties as are assigned to the museum director by
the Administrator pursuant to NRS 381.0063 .
