Administrator: Appointment; qualifications; classification; employment of staff

1. The Administrator is appointed by the
Director. The Director shall consult with the Board before making the
appointment.
2. To be qualified for appointment, the
Administrator must have a degree in history or science and experience in public
administration.
3. Except as otherwise provided pursuant
to subsection 3 of NRS 231.8133 , the
Administrator is in the unclassified service of the State.
4. The Administrator may employ, within
the limits of legislative appropriations, such staff as is necessary to the
performance of his or her duties.
