Nevada Code § 338.1717

Employment of architect, general contractor, construction manager as agent, landscape architect or engineer as consultant

A public body may employ a registered
architect, general contractor, construction manager as agent, landscape
architect or licensed professional engineer as a consultant to assist the
public body in overseeing the construction of a public work. An architect,
general contractor, construction manager as agent, landscape architect or
engineer so employed shall not:
1. Construct the public work; or
2. Assume overall responsibility for
ensuring that the construction of the public work is completed in a
satisfactory manner.
